CO-OP DURATION: 8 MONTHS

Designed and created posters, screensavers, workbooks, presentations, and social media banners for Fraser Health while adhering to brand standards using Figma and Adobe creative suite. Communicated with a team of thirty people to fulfill different design requests perfectly and punctually. Always met deadlines and completed dozens of projects each week, which solidified my work experience and taught me the importance of communication and efficient design work.

Fraser Health required a structured training workbook to support Indigenous Cultural Safety
education across the organization.


The challenge was to transform dense educational content into a reflection-based experience that
felt accessible, culturally respectful, and usable across both print and digital environments.

IMPACT AND OUTCOME

The Indigenous Cultural Safety workbook has had a significant organizational impact.
Required for all staff, medical personnel, and volunteers at Fraser Health, it has surpassed 30,000
enrollments, demonstrating widespread adoption and effectiveness as an educational resource.

 

Participants have reported positive experiences with its accessibility, visual clarity, and
cultural authenticity, building a deeper understanding of Indigenous history, perspectives, and
practices. By combining thoughtful design with cultural sensitivity, the workbook has
strengthened Fraser Health’s commitment to reconciliation and equitable care, fostering a
more inclusive and respectful workplace environment.
